John Gabriel, AKA 'sleeping with shoes on' is a beatmaker, instrumentalist and producer from Long Beach California.
Originally from West Nyack, a small suburb just outside of New York City, John creates unique sounds sampling and chopping old Vinyl records, while also incorporating his own style of guitar, bass and keys, to create the essence that is 'sleeping with shoes on'
SWSO has collaborated with artists and super producers FKi 1$T, Omar Grand, Coco Jones, Alex Rose (Minus The Bear), Braxton Olita, FURNS, Otxoa and many others. SWSO is currently working with Good Gas, FKi 1$T's independent label.
